Hole

Hole #1

The opening hole is the first of two relatively easy starting holes. Most golfers will hit a short iron to the green, even with a slightly wayward drive.

X
1

Hole #2

Hole 2 is a great birdie opportunity for most players as a reachable par 5. Take an extra club on your approach shot to the elevated green and embrace this encouraging start to the course!

X
2

Hole #3

The third hole is a longer downhill playing to an undulating fairway. Favor the right side of the fairway for the flattest lie to the large, relatively flat green.

X
3

Hole #4

The first par 3 of the course is best approached with a mid-iron to a well-protected, elevated green that slopes away from the tee. This hole usually plays into the prevailing wind, and with two bunkers guarding the front of the green, you’ll want to take an extra club.

4

Hole #5

This narrow, uphill hole requires an accurate tee shot to set up a clear shot to the elevated green. Be sure to take note of the pin position to avoid a bump in the middle of the green.

5

Hole #6

Another tight uphill play, the sixth hole’s O.B. left requires a long and accurate tee shot in order to reach the green in two. Be careful not to go long on the approach, or you’ll have an extremely difficult chip shot back to the green.

X
6

Hole #7

A mid-length par 3 with overhanging trees lining both sides of the fairway, Hole 7 features fantastic views of the Throgs Neck Bridge from the green.

X
7

Hole #8

The last two holes of the front nine prove difficult, starting with this par 4 that requires you to veer right off the tee to avoid the O.B. left. The hole is more forgiving from there with a downhill approach to the green that plays to the yardage.

X
8

Hole #9

On this solid driving hole, you won’t regret a mid-iron approach to the well-guarded green. If long drives aren’t your strength, the safest play is playing up short of the green.

OUT

Hole #10

A much-deserved breather after the last two holes, this par 4 offers another valuable birdie opportunity with a short iron to the green.

X
10

Hole #11

A difficult uphill par 4, the eleventh hold requires at least one extra club to hit the green, which is one of the most undulated of the course, making club selection that much more crucial. To compensate for this challenging hole, you can turn around at the green for another stunning view of the bridge.

Hole #12

Bring an extra club to avoid the large bunker just short of the deep green on the third par 3 of the course.

X
12

Hole #13

This slight dogleg left slopes downhill to the green. Avoid the large tree to the left by using a fairway metal off the tee.

X
13

Hole #14

The toughest par 4 on the course, Hole 14 requires a long, straight drive to reach the green. The approach to this two-tiered green is extremely difficult as it features severe drops on the front and right.

X
14

Hole #15

After surviving the fourteenth hole, catch your breath on this short par 5 with great birdie potential. Unless you’re a particularly skilled long hitter, pull out the driver to reach the fairway bunkers. A solid drive will offer a long iron to an unprotected green.

X
15

Hole #16

The last par 3 of the course plays uphill to a green that slopes right-to-left and back-to-front. Make sure you take an extra club from the tee.

X
16

Hole #17

This can be a great driving hole and easy par, as long as you avoid the bunker to the left of the green on your approach.

X
17

Hole #18

Wrap up the course with a blind, downhill tee shot. A drive down the left will provide the best shot at the green, but judge your yardage carefully on this downhill approach to avoid going long.
